Blind Assessment

Sweetly herbaceous, crisply cocoa-toned. Baking chocolate, orange zest, fresh cedar, black tea and date in aroma and cup. Gently bright acidity; smooth, rounded mouthfeel. The finish is clean and balanced, carrying cocoa and citrus notes.

Notes

Produced by smallholding farmers of the Ribang Gayo Musara Cooperative and processed by the washed method (fruit skin and pulp removed before drying). The Westside Coffee Company is a Utah-based specialty coffee roaster and cafe. Visit www.thewestsidecoffeecompany.com for more information.

Bottom Line

A fully washed Sumatra that emphasizes clarity, sweetness and structure over earthy depth, offering a composed cup with cocoa richness and subtle citrus lift.
