Blind Assessment
Deep-toned, fruit-forward and richly sweet. Black cherry, red plum, bittersweet chocolate, molasses and cardamom in aroma and cup. Briskly sweet acidity; full, creamy-smooth mouthfeel. The finish is sweet and persistent, with black cherry, bittersweet chocolate and cardamom notes.
Notes
Produced by Oscar Fernando Hernandez and processed by the anaerobic natural method, in which the whole fruit is fermented in tanks with limited oxygen before drying, also in the whole fruit.. The Westside Coffee Company is a Utah-based specialty coffee roaster and cafe. Visit www.thewestsidecoffeecompany.com for more information.
Bottom Line
A full-bodied anaerobic natural Colombia that layers ripe fruit and crisp chocolate with a molasses sweetness and alluring aromatic spice.
